Chadia El Meouchi is Managing Partner of Badri and Salim El Meouchi Law Firm, one of the oldest regional law firms active across the Middle East, with offices in Lebanon and Qatar. She is a member of the New York Bar since 2000. Chadia has been consistently recognised as a leading corporate and commercial lawyer in a number of law directories and guides, including Chambers Global Guide for Leading Lawyers, the International Financial Legal Review, Global Legal 500, and Asia Law and Practical Lawyer – PLC Which Lawyer. Chadia is board member of various companies in different industries and has authored a number of articles. She is also frequently invited to speak at conferences on numerous topics. Chadia is a visiting professor at: University Panthéon – Assas Paris II, Paris – France: Lecturing in the LLM for Business Law in the Arab countries; At American University of Beirut lecturing in the Master of Science Energy; At The Lebanese American University lecturing in LLM for Business Law. Chadia has a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University, a Bachelor of Civil Law at the University of Montreal, a Master of Laws (LLM) from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, a post-graduate diploma in Oil & Gas law from Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen), an Islamic Finance Qualification from the UK Securities and Investment Institute and ESA, and a Certificate in arbitration and ADR from the Canadian International Arbitration Centre (McGill University).
Chadia is the co-founder with the Aspen Institute and Shane Tedjarati (CEO of Honeywell Global) of the Middle East Leadership Initiative. She has also been nominated as a Henry Crown Fellow in 2008 by the Aspen Institute, and is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and The Aspen Corps of Moderators. Chadia is also a member of the Aspen Leadership initiatives committee since 2013. Chadia is also a co-founder and board member at Les Journées des Sciences Association, Vice Chair and Board Member of the Lebanese Centre for Policy Studies, Co-Chair and member of the Human Rights Watch Committee for Lebanon, a Steering Committee member in Shareholders, and is a member of the LLM Advisory Council at the Lebanese American University.



Maryline Kalaydjian – Associate
Maryline Kalaydjian is an associate at Badri and Salim El Meouchi Law firm. She joined the firm in 2010 and passed the Beirut Bar entry exam in 2014. Maryline actively participates in corporate & commercial law, banking & finance and oil & gas law. Maryline graduated from Saint Joseph University, Beirut with a Bachelor of Business & Management, and from the Lebanese University with a Bachelor of Law in 2012. Maryline also graduated in 2014 from Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen) with an L.L.M in Oil and Gas Law. Maryline is a co-lecturer at the American University of Beirut (AUB) in Energy Law, in the MS in Energy studies program, and at the Lebanese American University (LAU), in Project Finance and PPP, in the LLM program. Maryline is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and the Energy Institute (UK).
